IGH Days Parade and Expo
SPARC is thrilled to be going to IGH Days! Inver Grove Heights will be brimming with fun activities all week throughout the city.
This year, IGH Days runs from September 7 to 11. The annual festival celebrates the founding of Inver Grove Heights more than 100 years ago.
Watch for SPARC in Saturday’s Grand Day Parade. It’s a free, family-friendly event. You can volunteer to walk with SPARC in the parade, too! Just email PCN Grant Coordinator Angie Bierly at BierlyA@isd199.org.
Visit SPARC’s tent at Sunday’s expo. This is a great opportunity to learn about what SPARC is and find out how to become involved. If you’re connected to SPARC activities, then please consider volunteering at the booth. If you haven’t participated in any SPARC activities before, then stop by and learn more about our mission!
MOST Simley & IGHMS students DON’T vape, drink alcohol, or use marijuana. SPARC's work helps even more Inver Grove Heights youth make positive choices for their futures and the future of our community.
Want to volunteer for SPARC during IGH Days? Email Angie Bierly at BierlyA@isd199.org.
School Supply Drive
The school year is right around the corner!
To help families prepare for a successful school year, SPARC is hosting a school supply drive. Please consider donating. It’s a great opportunity to support families, colleagues, and our neighbors.
Our needs include backpacks, pens, pencils, folders, markers, crayons, colored pencils, and notebooks. Unfortunately, we can't accept cash. You can drop off donations at Simley High School’s main office, 2920 80th Street East in Inver Grove Heights, throughout August.
Supplies help the families we work with and all our schools’ students get on a path to learn from the start of classes!
